Ages 3 thru Pre-School - Tap, Ballet, Tumbling Combo
Discovery Dance Combo - Students that will enter Kindergarten in 2 years
Mini Dance Combo - Students that will enter Kindergarten in 1 year
A great introduction to dance. Ballet, Tap and Tumbling are explored in a 60 minute class. Students learn basic movements and positions. Coordination and loco-motor skills are the main focus. Students must be age 3 by the first week of class and potty trained.
Ballet - Ages Kindergarten through High School - All Ballet Classes are Non-Performing
Kindergarten thru 3rd Grade - Ballet classes follow the combo class as a 30 min non-performance based technique class
4th Grade through High School - Ballet classes range from 1 hour to 1 hour 30 min classes that are all non-performance based technique classes. We focus on the placement, turnout, and put an emphasis on the technique of the art of dance.
*All ballet classes are in the formalized movement, the Cecchetti method is a ballet technique and training system derived from Italy. It has established terminology and sets of exercises that are incorporated into barre and then center work. Body placement, posture, balance, flexibility, and coordination are stressed. Training in Ballet is essential to the skilled development of all dance forms.
*All Ballet classes kindergarten through High School will also learn the Progressing Ballet Technique to learn how to utilize the muscle control and engage the correct muscles for the most safest ballet training. These PBT classes will utilize equipment in the studio or if you would like to purchase the equipment for personal use, please ask Miss Stephanie for the list. It is very non-expensive for the quality of gain that is achieved.

Kindergarten thru 3rd Grade - Combo classes of Tap and Jazz
Tap and Jazz Classes for 4th Grade through High School - separated classes
4th Grade thru High School - Jazz and Tap classes are broken up by class
Rhythmic footwork with specially designed shoes.Its origins are in America, based on the Jig and Clogging.The emphasis is placed on rhythm, style, and clarity of sounds.Tap is an excellent way to develop a sense of rhythm, timing and stage presence. Jazz is a
form of dance that borrows its style from Ballet and Modern technique and develops with a style.It is required for students to have at least one year of ballet training before enrolling in a Jazz class.Classes consist of warm-up, floor stretches, center floor work, progressions across the floor and combinations.
Jazz Funk/Hip Hop - 3rd Grade and Up
Often considered the "Street Style" dance that is mixed with a structure of Jazz technique.Hip Hop encourages students to use many different stylistic techniques and allows them to interpret moves in varied ways.Fast paced and challenging, creative, rhythmic talents are emphasized using age-appropriate music.
Contemporary - Intermediate Ballet and Up
A fusion of Jazz, Ballet and Modern dance.Developed in the mid-20th century, first known as "New Dance", Contemporary dance has become one of the most popular styles of dance.Contemporary dance usually has varied and changing rhythmic patterns and often incorporate floor work.There is no limit to the movement exploration a dancer can achieve with Contemporary Dance.It is required for student to be enrolled in a ballet class in order to take Contemporary.
In order to take Contemporary, you must be enrolled in ballet class.
Pre-Pointe and Pointe - Must be 13 yrs old and approved by an instructor
A dancer is said to be en pointe when the dancer's body is supported in this manner, and a fully extended vertical foot is said to be en pointe when touching the floor, even when not bearing weight. This class is offered to those students at the Owner-Instructor discretion.
Tumbling and Power Tumbling - Ages Kindergarten through High School
Primary, Junior, Power Tumbling Intermediate and Power Tumbling Advanced - all have a set skill set that needs to be mastered before entering the class. Tumbling is a very complex sport involving the performance of exercises requiring physical strength, flexibility, power, agility.
Dance Acro
Dance Acro incorporates the elements of acrobatic tricks, jazz, tumbling, coordination, grace, balance and control. Main focus will be mastering skills to incorporate into dance movements and to build core and muscle strength. Each student will maintain their own pace in the class, and must master tricks before moving to a harder skill set. Dance acro will have accountability placements. Safety first.
AIMDC will start off with an Intermediate and Advanced Dance Acro Class. In order to enroll in the student must complete the Tumbling Primary and Junior class. Ability level will be decided upon the instructor so class movement may be needed.

Please note, tuition is paid on a 9 month schedule (September through May), no matter how many classes are in each month. Due by the 20th of each month. Payments received after the 20th will be subject to a $15.00 late fee. This fee will be strictly enforced.

AIMDC charges tuition based on a 32-week dance season and then divide the total yearly tuition(excluding cosutme fees and recital fees) by 9 months.

A 15% discount is given in September for tuition paid in full by September 30th. Costume fees, Recital fees and any competition fees are not included in the 15% and are due when they are added to the account

All studio classes closing for weather will not be made up unless the class falls below the 32 sessions.
